Your starting point for brain and whole-body wellness.
A simple at-home test. No doctor's order required. Results you can put to work.
The Brain Omega Test™ measures the five fatty-acid markers most closely tied to brain health and combines them into one patent-pending score: your Brain Omega Index™. A few drops from a finger prick, a prepaid envelope to our CLIA-certified lab, and a clear, personalized report you can act on. Measure today. Take action. Track for life.
Five biomarkers. One unified score.
Your Brain Omega Index™ (patent pending) brings all five results together in a single 0–100 score, weighted toward what matters most for your brain. 80+ is optimal. Because these fatty acids are built into every cell you have, a higher score means healthier cells throughout your whole body.

| DHA | 97% of your brain's omega-3. The building block of every brain cell: learning, memory and focus. | >4.5% |
| EPA | Your body's peacekeeper. The primary anti-inflammatory omega-3, tied to heart health and mood. | >1.5% |
| Omega-3 Index | The gold-standard measure of EPA + DHA in your red blood cells: a four-month window into every cell. | 8%+ |
| AA/EPA Ratio | The most direct marker of cellular inflammatory balance. Both fats are essential; balance is the key. | 1.5–3:1 |
| Omega-6/Omega-3 | Whether seed oils and processed foods are crowding out your omega-3s. | 3:1 or lower |
The science behind your score
Your red blood cells mirror the omega-3 content of your heart, brain and other tissues, which is why the measures in the Brain Omega Test are among the most studied markers in nutrition science. Here is what the research shows:
People with higher red-blood-cell EPA and DHA had larger total brain and hippocampal (memory center) volumes.
Alzheimer's risk in people with the highest red-blood-cell DHA levels compared with the lowest.
Longer life expectancy associated with a higher Omega-3 Index in the landmark Framingham Heart Study.
All-cause mortality in people with the highest circulating DHA, across 17 international studies.
Red blood cells renew about every 120 days, so a retest at 4 months shows exactly how your levels responded. Your brain rebuilds its DHA even more slowly, over about 2.5 years (Umhau et al., Journal of Lipid Research, 2009), which is why tracking your score over time matters.

Frequently asked questions
What is the Omega-3 Index?
The percentage of EPA and DHA in your red blood cell membranes. It reflects your omega-3 status over the past four months and tracks closely with omega-3 levels in your heart, brain and other tissues. 8% or higher is optimal.
What is the Brain Omega Index?
Our patent-pending score that combines DHA, EPA, the Omega-3 Index, the AA/EPA ratio and the Omega-6/Omega-3 ratio into one 0–100 number, weighted toward brain health. 80 and above is optimal.
Do I need a doctor's order or to fast?
No. It's a simple at-home finger-prick test. No doctor's order and no fasting required.
How often should I test?
Every 4 months while you're improving your levels. Once you're optimal, retest every 6 months to stay there.
Can my whole family use it?
Yes. Each kit tests one person, and your account lets you register and track kits for every member of your household.
Can I give it as a gift?
Yes. Order a kit for someone you care about; they register it in their own account (or you add them as a family member on yours) and receive their own personalized report.
